BuzzFeed News reports that the owner of Able, an adorable two-legged feline from Thailand, is hoping that his story will be a source of inspiration for many. Despite having lost both his front legs and tail to electrocution, the 5-year-old tabby is thriving and enjoying his life to the fullest.

As per the owner, AbleMaew had set out to catch a bird that had settled on an apartment’s roof. However, things took an unexpected turn when he accidentally made contact with an electrical wire. BuzzFeed News was the first to report this mishap.

AbleMaew is a popular feline on Facebook who underwent a traumatizing incident when he got electrically shocked, resulting in severe injuries to his tail and rectum. His front legs were also so severely damaged that the vet had to amputate them. Able’s rehabilitation journey was not easy, as he had to relearn how to walk and initially relied on his forehead for support.

AbleMaew is now joyfully prancing and walking on his hind legs, giving him the appearance of the legendary T-Rex. His owner has noted the considerable interest in Able’s ability to climb stairs and his daily activities, making him a captivating figure on Facebook’s video.php. Besides his love for treats and running up flights of stairs, Able relishes spending time with his adopted sibling, Fifi.

Even though AbleMaew can no longer catch birds, his Facebook profile reveals that he still finds joy in watching them from his window.

AbleMaew’s owner shared that the feline has a keen interest in birds and finds pleasure in watching bird-related shows on National Geographic TV.
