The couple is still grieving the loss of their plural marriage and Kody admits that they have been struggling with depression and anger. Despite this, Kody believes that they need to let some sunshine back into their lives and move forward, even if it is a slow process.

Recently, Robyn has expressed concerns that Kody may have thoughts of leaving her due to family drama that has made him want to disappear. However, Kody has stated that he has reached a point where he is letting sunshine back in and hopes that all of his former wives can find their own happiness. He believes that if they are breaking up, it is important to continue seeking happiness and not live with regret. Although Kody holds out hope that he can repair his relationship with Christine, she has already decided to leave.
