Horror movies can scare the best of us, even our mischievous cats. The eerie sound effects and spooky music in horror films are enough to give anyone goosebumps. Our usually cool and collected feline companions might bolt out of the room or become paralyzed with fear. But this particular cat is no ordinary feline – he’s a horror enthusiast.

Introducing Togepi, the adorable tabby feline with a peculiar love for being frightened. This charming cat was initially rescued from a car engine block, found a loving home and was later reunited with the Happy Cat Family.

I decided to call her Togepi, inspired by the popular series Pokemon. In the show, Togepi is a character that grows inside an egg and when it eventually hatches, it sees the first person it meets as its mother. Similarly, when I first found her and carried her around in my backpack, she attached herself to me immediately. Although I only fostered her for a short time, a kind-hearted man eventually adopted her. However, due to some personal circumstances, Togepi ended up back in my care after two months. Fortunately, she had no trouble fitting in with my other tabby cats.

Not too long ago, the owner of Togepi shared a delightful video on their social media account. The clip captured the feline’s reaction while watching a spine-chilling movie. Togepi was sitting comfortably on the carpet, gazing at the TV screen with great interest as the horror flick (probably Psycho) played. It was amusing to witness how Togepi reacted to the random happenings depicted in the film.

As per the owner of Togepi, their cat has a habit of reacting to pop-up scares, and it isn’t the first time they have witnessed it. A viewer commented on the video admiring the cat’s intelligence and sympathizing with their fear. Don’t hesitate to share this video with your loved ones!
