A friendly feline received assistance from compassionate individuals and eventually found shelter inside. In just a short span, she gave birth to her litter of kittens in the cozy confines of their new abode.
Mary Chromek, a passionate animal rescuer working at Foster Purrs, recently encountered a pregnant cat wandering around a cat colony all by herself. Although the cat seemed to be friendly, she was a bit hesitant in the presence of strangers and kept a safe distance from Mary. Despite several attempts to rescue the cat, using humane traps and other methods, she managed to escape with her clever moves. She even climbed on top of the live traps instead of getting inside them. Mary was amazed by the cat’s character and resilience throughout the process. Unfortunately, none of the flyers seeking information about the cat’s owner yielded any results. However, Mary received a call from a kind-hearted individual who had been feeding the cat and wanted to help.
While pregnant, the cat had been wandering on the streets by herself until she was discovered by a kind feeder named Mary Chromek. Despite being a stray, this feline was quite fond of the feeder and approached her eagerly for affection. Mary and the feeder worked together to coax the cat into a carrier, successfully bringing her indoors where she could receive the care she needed.
After taking the cat named Calla Lilly in as a foster, Mary made sure to create a cozy and inviting environment for the expecting mother. As soon as she was brought inside, Calla Lilly appeared content and at ease. She enjoyed the company of humans and would even nudge her head against their hands to request pets. With daily cleaning and endless amounts of food available, Calla Lilly was living the life of luxury in her new home.
Mary Chromek expressed her happiness as she finally got her cat indoors where it could be comfortable. The cat gave birth to seven healthy kittens within a short period after arriving at the comfortable room. Mary had initial concerns that the cat would be over-protective, but it was not the case as the cat allowed her to handle the kittens just hours after giving birth. Mary also shared that the cat is a great mother, but she is glad that this will be her last litter since she has had consecutive litters since reaching reproductive age. This means that the cat can now enjoy being a young cat without having to worry about taking care of more kittens in the future.
In a cozy and affectionate environment, Calla Lilly successfully delivered a litter of seven adorable kittens. However, taking care of all seven little ones was not an easy task, which is why she welcomed the help to fulfill their constant demands. To ensure that even the smallest kitten, Amaryllis, received adequate nutrition, she received additional feedings to catch up with her siblings. Despite being the smallest, Geranium, on the other hand, was the largest and loved snuggling with their mother for extra cuddles.
Geranium is quite attached to his mother as he seems to be a mama’s boy. The litter of seven kittens is doing well and growing quickly. Calla Lilly, the mother cat, is also doing better and gaining some weight. She is taking occasional breaks from nursing to stretch and rejuvenate herself.
Mary Chromek observes that the kittens are becoming more inquisitive, active, and adventurous. The young felines are developing newfound energy, constantly moving about as they learn to control their limbs, much like a group of roly-polies inside their nest.
Mary Chromek reports that Calla Lilly is thriving and developing a charming personality thanks to having a caring owner and a roof over her head. She no longer has to constantly worry about the safety of her kittens, allowing her to relax and enjoy some well-deserved alone time.
By providing a loving foster home, these adorable kittens will never have to experience the uncertainty and danger of living on the streets. Moreover, their mother can finally enjoy the life she has always dreamed of.
