Despite this, his artistic owners have transformed him into a social media sensation on Instagram. Looking to adopt a Siamese kitten from the Lynchburg Humane Society shelter in Virginia, visual artists Nathanial Green and Elliot Green attended the organization’s open day. Unfortunately, all the cats that met their criteria had already been claimed. However, they couldn’t resist falling in love with another furry friend, Merlin. Although he was very young and visually impaired, his unique celestial eyes stole the duo’s hearts. Initially, there were some concerns about whether they could give Merlin the care he needed, but they took the plunge and gave him a forever home.

As he grew into adulthood, the Munchkin and Persian crossbreed named Napoleon remained small in size, adding to his already adorable appearance. Despite his handicap, Merlin is an affectionate feline who never displays aggression towards his owners and quickly became the perfect companion for them. He fearlessly jumps from high places and loves to sit on guests’ laps. Merlin’s health has significantly improved since his diet was changed as he had previously suffered from seizures caused by gluten in his food. Today, he is a happy cat, evident by the photos shared on his Instagram page with over 40 thousand subscribers.
