A sightless kitten was discovered wandering the roads, and it began embracing every feline it encountered. After five months, its desire was fulfilled.

A kind-hearted person stumbled upon a ginger kitten wandering the streets alone. After taking him to the vet, it was discovered that he had microphthalmia, which meant that his eyes were abnormally small, causing him to be mostly blind. One of his eyes had no vision at all, while the other had limited vision that allowed him to see light and shadows. When the kitten arrived, he was incredibly scared and needed plenty of comforting. The vet contacted Best Friends Felines, a local rescue, in hopes of finding the kitten a caring foster home. The following day, a volunteer picked him up, and they quickly learned that he adored the company of other cats.
Amigo, a little kitten who was discovered as a blind stray, has found a new home in foster care with Best Friends Felines. The adorable kitty quickly made friends with a cat named Smokey and some other kittens who also have special needs. Despite his disability, Amigo adapted well and even enjoyed snuggling up to his new feline companions. According to Nikki, the rescue’s president, Amigo was initially shy and easily startled, but his gentle nature made him beloved by all.
The little feline quickly found comfort in the company of other cats and would often cuddle up with them, as seen in a post by @bestfriendsfelines. Although he occasionally bumped into things while exploring his surroundings, he always remained unfazed as long as a fellow feline friend was nearby. Despite his visual impairment, he was able to navigate his daily life with ease and was just like any other playful kitten. His ability to find his food and water and use the litter tray without any problems only further proved how perfect he was.
According to @bestfriendsfelines, the tabby cat can still jump and climb onto various surfaces like the couch, bed, and cat tree. However, he has a unique way of coming down – he climbs down backwards instead of jumping like other cats with sight. Currently, the tabby is perched on a cat tree and taking a nap.
Similar to any other cats, Amigo is capable of playing and climbing, as demonstrated on the Best Friends Felines website. Although he can be startled by unexpected sounds or motions, he’ll begin purring with joy when he snuggles up to a fellow feline. According to Nikki, Amigo has grown more self-assured as he’s aged.
Amigo was in foster care for approximately five months while he waited for his ideal forever home with Best Friends Felines. Fortunately, Kelly and Louie, who had previously adopted from the shelter, spotted Amigo and were convinced that he would make a wonderful companion for their eight-month-old feline, Basil. Basil, like Amigo, had been discovered on the streets before being brought to the rescue organization in hopes of finding a loving family. Basil is an active and self-assured cat, and he delights in snuggling and kneading with his paws.
According to Basil’s post on Best Friends Felines, Kelly and Louie proved their dedication and patience during a lengthy conversation. As a result, they welcomed Amigo into their home, where he joined his new fur brother Basil. With Basil’s company, it didn’t take long for Amigo to become more sociable and affectionate. In fact, he often invaded his feline brother’s personal space without a second thought.
Basil and Amigo hit it off right away and formed a strong bond as best buddies. They became inseparable in no time, and their new owners couldn’t be happier. According to their human parents, Amigo has adapted to his new surroundings beautifully and is adored by all. Basil and Amigo have become fast friends for life!
Amigo is an adorable cat who loves spending time with his best friend. He can’t seem to stay away from his buddy and follows him everywhere around the house.
