Meet Weezy, the lovable and shy puppy who used to tremble at every little thing – until she found her human sibling. Although it’s unclear why this Italian greyhound was so anxious, she was afraid of practically everything – humans, toys, and even bugs. Unfortunately, the initial family who took her home returned her to the shelter within 24 hours because she was simply too frightened.

Out of the blue, Sarah Mavro decided to take a two-hour drive just to meet Weezy. To her surprise, she found out that Weezy had only two teeth left, which explained why her tongue often protruded. It was evident that Weezy’s teeth were in terrible condition and needed urgent dental care.

For three years straight, Weezy the dog didn’t make a sound and it was interpreted as a sign of comfort and loyalty. However, when baby Evan was born, Weezy’s behavior changed and she gradually became comfortable around him. Fast forward seven months and Weezy and Evan share a unique bond. Mavro, their owner, believes that Weezy loves Evan even more than the rest of the family, given how she lets Evan climb over her and cuddle without any apprehension.
